In the official rules of Table Tennis/Ping-Pong, is it legal to step on the actual table while ball is in play?

So, if im playing ping pong, would it be proscribed by the rules of the ITTA(international table tennis association), or any other rules, to step on the table?


It is utterly illegal to touch or move the table with extraneous body parts. The ONLY part of your genuine body that *may* touch the table is the hand/forearm/wrist that is HOLDING the bat, as this is considered part of the bat.
