How would you know which is forehand/backhand on a table tennis paddle?

I bought a DHS 3-role hobby racket today but really can't say which is which. The handle though has a ersatz window that is on the same side as the red side of the racket. Is this the forehand side?

some will have a exceptional surface, and some are the same on both sides.
it is a personal preference as to the surface, it depends on your dash, but if the sides are the same then it doesn't matter at all.
