The kindergarten doubtlessly had a pygmy budget for course and department appurtenances. My dad made the hurdles out of reach-me-down 2 x 4s. The ripe skip and pole vault standards were made of metal poles mould into definitive-filled connection tires. The coolest feeling though was the jetty mat for the towering space and pole vault. It was made of what appeared to be an old sewn together fishing net filled with stone sized pieces of froth; like the thoughtful that you use when washing your car. The mat was thing of a sort of a tentative congress position for hanging out after track praxis. We would sit out there, smoke cigarettes and swap stories about kind.
